Liquid Glass Sheild - protection for you cloth

It looks like a great idea for bar tables, if you don't have to reapply it too often. It probably makes the table play faster but I don't think drunk bangers would notice.
 
Interesting how it goes back to the paper towel. Love to know what effect it would have on the balls.
 
I first saw this over a year ago,,tried to bring it here to the US for the furniture industry. I'm not sure how it would play,,but my guess would be,,the table would play much faster and the balls would slide around as well when struck,, an adjustment would be called for,,to say the least. This coating reduces friction as well as making the cloth impenetrable to liquids.. The coating last for about 6 months under the right conditions,,shorter time frame in bad ones,,and is expensive as for now..the price on this product and others like it will drop as time goes by,,,,and hopefully the life cycle will improve also,,my 2 cents issued
 
Also look to NeverWet. They show videos of clothes and tennis shoes repelling water and all liquids the same way. You can buy it at Home Depot.
