One of your horses had a chance to help me out & he failed miserably... I'll pass on the offer, thanks.Al-fahl Amir said:If you don't have someone that can work your bottom right, you can be a guest on our next show and I'm sure one of the players can help you out.![]()
I'll check for that, thanks.Flex said:Working fine for me, loads up just fine. Perhaps you may wish to check if your quicktime files are updated.

Except for the editing. Large chunk in the middle was repeated and the Earl interview was cut out at the end.
Interviews feature:
Deno Andrews, Barry Bermann, Gabe Owen, Rodney Morris, Earl Strickland.
Discusses IPT and scheduling conflicts, tourney disussion, general ribbing etc. Well worth a listen!
Hope to hear some more episodes!
CaptiveBred said:$8 is fair but the prices on the videos is crazy. I'd buy lots of them at $5, like Wall Mart dvd's, but none at $25... If they are not, making them available for download would be sweet instead of shipping them.
Gabe Owen segment played twice and so did the Rodney Morris part. Earl segment got cut off at the end. he was talking about golf so, who cares?
Are the shows archived or do you have to log in when its live?
Oh ya, golf sucks. People play it because its pretentous. Its like drinking expensive coffee, people do it because they think its the thing to do...Media hyped golf up just like Kobe... Both are second rate
I give it a thumbs up.
Hey JAM,JAM said:"Beyond the Break" is the BEST! What a fantastic experience. From Deno Andrews' comments on the IPT scheduling to Barry Behrman's comments about a little respect, it was very enlightening.
I wish Dee Adkins would have spoken up a bit. It was hard to hear him! However, Corey was the life of the show. He was full of quips and funny remarks, which made the show very entertaining.
They called up Gabe Owens live on the show, and he was busting chops with Corey, Dee, Aaron, and Shawn. "The Babe," as he was called throughout the broadcast, sounds like he's enjoying his life in Florida with his new house and Durango and his 3-minute encounter with Sarah [must be an inside joke].
This show really gives an insight into the players. I especially enjoyed hearing Earl describe his pool and golf gimmics, to include the new golf aid which enhanced Rodney's game (LOL), even though, according to Earl, Rodney uses a "snap-hook driver." Earl also mentioned that those glasses of his that he used to wear when playing pool enabled him to cut balls better, in his opinion. And The Pearl is currently taking a break from pool. He just shot a 76 the other day on the golf course and has put himself on a strict regimen to get in shape for the upcoming IPT event in July at the Venetian. Weighing in at 176 at the time of the broadcast, Earl is hoping to continue eating healthy, to prepare himself for the 13-hour-long days of the IPT tournaments up ahead. When Shawn Putnam asked Earl about a 1990-something tournament between him and Tony Ellin which was recently on TV, Earl said Tony hit the ball better than Earl, but that Earl moved the balls better than Tony. He also mentioned that Tony used to be proficient in tennis, too, and was truly a great all-around athlete.
Rodney Morris said that a new baby boy is on the horizon for his family, and he sounds very happy. He spoke about the upcoming invitational tournament at Capone's on May 11th and 12th, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Good going, Rodney!
Then came along "Big Johnny" Archer at the end. I didn't get the "corn nuts" joke, but maybe if I listen to it again, I'll pick up on it. Johnny said that he and "Kimmer" (Kim Davenport) were very much enjoying their golf games. He also mentioned getting beat by Bobby Pickle at the JOBs tournament a short time ago and then coming back on the B side of the charts and defeating Marco Marquez twice to win the whole shebang.
This audio broadcast was EXCELLENT, and for the first time out of the gate, I commend you, Aaron, for making it happen. It is productions like this which will give pool a personality. Thanks again for sharing this FREE link. I look forward to hearing more "Beyond the Break" shows as they become available. Bravo to you, Aaron!![]()

Al-fahl Amir said:Thanks for you comments. The shows will be archived on our website but if you watch it live you will also be able to e-mail or call in and ask any of the players questions. If it's instructional, they will be able to show you how to shoot the shots on the two Diamond tables that were lent to us by Diamond Billiards for the show.
AuntyDan said:The show seems interesing so thanks for posting it, but I'm confused - The link to the archive seems to an audio-only .MP3 file. Was this on video as well?
Al-fahl Amir said:Hey AuntyDan,
Thanks for the nice comment. You are correct the show was filmed as well and will be up in a week for viewing. Unfortunately we are unable to put the video on for free because it is run through Istreamplanet and we get charged every time someone views or downloads it. Without Istreamplanet we would be unable to do a live show via the internet but at the same note it is very expensive to do. We hope one day we get a sponsor so we can do the live show for free but until then we will have to charge.
