That's one helluva start.
Nice cues, who's Farris, how's it play, and is it for sale?

Ed Farris has been making cues in Tulsa, Ok for about 10+ years. They are popular with players in that part of the country. This was one of his first 5 or so cues. It's definitely the old style, with a fat butt (which I happen to like) and a traditional taper. It's solid, but you have to have a good stroke to move the cue ball.

Thanks for asking, but I'm keeping it. I'm from Ok and I've met Ed and showed him this cue to get the story behind it. I collect because of the look, hit and sometimes the associated stories.

Pretty scruggs ya got there mate...

I am buying an Omen for the same reason, Pete Ohman is a local cuemaker here in Melbourne and does excellent work. Looking at a 6 pointer with two shafts and a Fanelli lizard wrap.

Scott,

It's not the quanity, it's the quality - and you've sure got that! Very nice!

Thanks, guys!
Shorty, you're right. I love the veneer colors and birdseye in the Scruggs. It's a sweet hitter, too.

Klein (sold)

Who would buy that thing??? ;)

I haven't actually gone out and "shot" with it yet, but I threw 15 up on my ratty garage table and knocked 'em around to see what if felt like. Never even chalked the bare tip and only missed once. Even put a little "swerve" on whitey a couple times. The hit is really sweet. I'm pleased! :)

Excellent!! Glad you like it. I hated to sell it, but needed to thin out the collection a little - according the better half!

My better half doesn't know I bought it yet, otherwise I'd be getting an earful myself! :D

Thanks. I like several in your collection also. When I save a few pennies, I might have to take one off of your hands.
