on a valley 7' table, if forstmann is way to slow and simonis 860 is a bit to fast what is in the middle?( maybe on the faster side of middle)
 
try 760 simonis or a lower thread count sometime on older valleys the rails get a bit harder as they age and get faster the rails may be faster that the cloth sorry 860 is slower than 760 slightly.
