Nice little run Dennis.
You shot that 4 ball in the upper left corner and you came around two rails too long. A little softer and the cue ball would of set up for either two balls ( 3 & the 8 ball) that would of went in the lower left corner But...... not all shots are perfect, remember that.
As Ray Martin stated; when you get out of line, re-think another pattern and start over. That is what you did. Which turned out good.
You set yourself up nicely by shooting the 2 ball in the side and positioned the cue ball between the 1 ball & 14 ball which were on the rail. Playing the 14 first and then shooting the 1 ball in the corner.
I would of try-ed to keep the cue ball lower and off the rail to use a draw shot on that key ball and to float over onto to the break ball but you got a little high and had to go to the two bottom rails to come up with position on the break.
Which way is correct??? Either way, it doesn't matter, the job was done.
The next rack you played perfect, up to the 14 in the side pocket. I knew just what you were going to shoot. The last 4 balls got you. When you shot the 14 in the side, you got a little too high on the 1 ball in the other side. You try-ed to make the other balls stop your cue ball but missed doing it and the cue rolled to the bottom rail. You then made a nice recovery shot on the 6 ball in the corner and almost got on that key ball.
Over all very good playing. You are thinking properly. All good things will come within time. Keep on hanging in there. Hope that you start to feel better. I know about back & nerve damage problems.
