does anybody deal with litte town bs as a woman. i have had it in this little town no skill in the town but i have been putting up with it for 9 years the city of chicago is looking good for the challenge the south side of chicago would be great. know alot of great shooters there!!!
 
not to dis the guy's but no good shooters in town. i wish good players in my little town but none there could travel 1 or 2 hours but driving getting old here.
 
Sounds like a perfect opportunity to hustle a little from the local male egos.:D :D Go get em girl!
 
Its too bad that you don't have any real challenges where you are. But you could play a few money games with the guys.

You have a bit of an advantage (outside of being the better player). A male chauvenist is going to have a lot of pressure on him because he feels he is supposed to win. So even if you are off your game, you will still probably win.
 
Become an instructor and charge them to learn how to play. Maybe you can get them to bring their game up to your level. I used to live in a small town with one pool table. Fortunately, there were a bunch of us that played pretty good. Between the softball, horseshoes, and pool we always had some sort of competition going on and noone was a favorite to win. Of course, we were usually drunk (or on our way to getting there) and stoned, too.
 
wickedb, where are you from? Sometimes you would be surprised at where you can find good pool action. You talked about Chicago so I'm guessing you live somewhere in IL or IN. I might be able to help you out a little.

You would think after while the guys would learn that you can play a little and start showing some respect. Just keep beating on them and it will happen.
