"Beyond the Break"

From the visionairies at Worldpool.com comes the first live interactive pool show on the internet. Premiering Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. EST Worldpool.com in conjunction with iStreamPlanet.com bring you "Beyond the Break", a revolutionary new pool show aimed at helping you the average player become better at your game while also informing you about industry news, opinions from the pros, and of course some interesting match play between guests.

Special thanks go to Diamond Billiards for providing two tables to the studio for the players to be able to demonstrate shots or play matches on either a full size regulation or a bar box table.

Subscribers will be able to blog in questions or comments to our in house professionals, IPT touring Pros Shawn Putnam, Aaron Czetli, Corey Deuel and their visiting celebrity Pros. A call in number will be provided during the show for viewers to use to call in to ask questions to the pros. Since it’s shown in real time your answers will be immediate.

$7.95 a month gives you a minimum of 2 hours of show where you can get firsthand advice from your favorite players. Guests will vary from show to show. The first show will feature Corey Deuel, Aaron Czetli, Shawn Putnam and Dee Adkins.

Remember February 11, 2006, log on and subscribe to "Beyond the Break". Your pool game will never be the same, and for only $7.95 a month you really can’t afford to miss it.

Very nice idea! Unique and innovative. I like it! :)

Bravo to Diamond tables, too! It's nice to see pool folks working together to make things happen. We all end up winners in the long run!

Thanks JAM, This is the first show so we are hoping to get some feedback from people on things they would like to see on future shows. I would love down the road to have you and Keith on one of them. I'll see you guys next week at Turning Stone.

We'll see you at Turning Stone for sure. Make sure you bring COMFORTABLE shoes because you'll be inclined to do a lot of walking! I'm actually starting to get excited about the trip :)

As a suggestion for the upcoming presentation, how about Corey sharing some of his BREAKING strategies?! Since he's one of the STRONGEST breakers in the world, it would be interesting to have him demonstrate various breaks for 9-ball, 8-ball, 1-pocket. AND Shawn would be perfect to contribute to that topic as well.

AND if Dee's feeling a little generous, tell him Keith wouldn't mind receiving a hot tip for the trotters this weekend!:D

I looked through the site - looks pretty interesting. Only question I have is how often is "Beyond the Break" going to air...new show every week, once a month? Anyway, thanks a mill for the info..maybe this will curb my internet pool jones since the DCC wrapped up.

We plan on doing the show once a month for at least 2 hours. Dates and times will vary due to the players schedules.

I like your suggestions about Corey and Shawn talking about the break. I would think Corey and Shawn might give up a little informantion but I don't think they will give up to much. I bet Dee will give up some trotter info though, I'll talk to the guys and give them your suggestions.

Well, I paid my 7.95, subscription went through fine, everything worked until the player came up: I got a blank screen, no sound, nada. After trying everything I could to make it work (yes, I did the system check and was OK, I am not an expert but have found that for most sites, I don't need to be). Very frustrated and bitter (at being made frustrated and bitter), sent an E-Mail outlining my problems and am not expecting satisfaction, and am gearing up for all-out war. I HATE TO GET RIPPED OFF AND I HATE TO HAVE MY TIME WASTED TRYING TO MAKE SOMETHING WORK THAT SHOULD WORK FAIRLY EASILY. Jeff Claitor, Orlando, Florida.

As a follow-up to my last post, I got an E-mail from WorldPool.com telling me my 7.95 would be refunded, so, although I'm still a little miffed about the whole thing, at least the people running the show are honorable.
