Live Stream of Roger Long Vs Big Cat aka Ray Robles!

I missed the end, how did it end?
OMG Do I have enough vchipies to get coffee in the morning.

I do want to say what an excellent job was done by all. It is always uplifting to watch.

Rl Vs. Rr

Ray won the 14.1 but then Roger, with the great effort, came back from behind to win the 10ball round. By then, they were both pretty worn down. Ray got a second win and put it away with the 1P. Great match and both players showed a lot of heart. Roger was very underrated as far the vbets went. Big Thanks to Lenny and Bull for a long hard days work.

to Roger for his 10 Ball victory.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It was a fun (and grueling) match to play. I apologize for my less than stellar play at the end of the 10 ball set. To say the least, I am a bit embarrased how I played at that point in the match but it was my own fault for not scheduling a break and taking the time to eat. Next time I will know better

However, I must also congratulate Roger Long for capitalizing on my mistakes to come from behind, 19-14, and win the 10 ball set 20-19. I think Roger surprised us all (including myself) with his 10 ball game. Roger even showed some some good skills in the 14.1 and 1 pocket sets. Nice shooting Roger

It is not easy to get out there and play your best. But Roger stepped up and played and showed us what he could do. My hat is off to you, sir. And once again, I would like to thank Fast Lenny for giving us the opportunity to play and also for giving everyone else the opportunity to watch it for free.

Also, thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the match and cheered me on, especially Brady, Mike H., and Chuck... and especially my wife for tuning in and watching until the very end.

Ray

BTW, how cool was that to have San Jose Dick commentate while Roger and I played 1 pocket

Ray won the 14.1, 150- 73. (not sure of exact score, but thats pretty close to what it was). Ray is Tony's brother. High run was in the 20's by Ray.

I believe the 10 ball is 4-4 right now.

Thanks for tuning in.

Actually, Tony and I are not related at all. I've spoken with him, and he is Puerto Rican while I am Native American and Hispanic. He is a super nice guy and I finally had the chance to meet him at the UPA Desert Shoot Out. We spent about 20 minutes talking about how people always mispronounce our last name. It was quite funny.

Congrat's on the win Ray. At times like you were refering to ( in your 10 ball match ) I find a good stiff shot of whiskey will re-invigerate. ;) (Caution.... does not work for everyone ! )

Thank you very much, Ray. The respect is mutual. You are now my champion of choice on the Desert Classic Tour, and I'm going to try to get back down to BullShooters this weekend to watch you play in the DCT event there. Go get 'em BIG CAT!

And thanks go out to Bull (Big Bull), Brady (bval), and San Jose Dick (SJDnPhx) for stepping into the booth and helping to keep the viewing audience awake while I was lulling them to sleep with my unexciting play.

And special thanks go to Lenny Marshall (Fast Lenny) for live streaming not only this match, but for the other matches he has already done, and for all of the matches he will be doing in the future. This is not an easy task that Lenny has taken on, and he needs all of the help and encouragement we can give him. Please keep up the good work, Lenny.

Someone has either been practicing or drinking. :D:D:D:D:D

Ouch!!

I dont drink, but neither do I practice...what you see is what you get.

As always..on any given day you might have a bull by the horns or a kitten.

Up to everyone to draw straws on which will show up.

You know I'm just playing around Chuck. :) Of course the last time we played all I heard from the chair in the corner was... meow, meow, meow. :D:D:D
I'll never forget that day and I will make sure you don't either :D:D:D

Ill take my licks with the best of them...you played well that night...I think you made at least 5 bank shots on me during that short set..but you got out everytime.

I would love to have a rematch! That sounds fun! I can't do anything until next month but I would love to be your first victim :)

LOL!!!!

I'm barely putting my cue away and you're already quacking at me (get it.... 'cause you're a goose  ).

Ok... Ok... We'll play. But it will have to wait for next month because:

a) Next weekend is the next stop of the Desert Classic Tour and Fast Lenny is live streaming the tournament.
b) Fast Lenny has about 7 or 8 matches lined up for himself and others to live stream.
c) Since I've already gone I think it's only fair to let other people play before I jump in the box again.
d) We need to check with Fast Lenny to see when his next available time slot is, it may not be for a month or 2.

Remind me again, what are we doing and for how much?

Dick

Thank you for the advice, Dick. It was an honor having you in the booth for the 1 pocket set. I was probably more nervous just having you watch me play and commentate than during the rest of the entire match

As for the "good stiff shot of whiskey", it would probably do me more harm than good as I don't drink anymore. I would probably end up on the floor  .

It was nice finally meeting you.
