Live Stream of World Snooker Championships for USA Viewers

Now that"s how you close out a match! Ronnie O just ran a 147 to win 13-7, against Mark Williams!
Jeremy

And the price for running 147 in a match in the World Championship?

1000 pound (almost 2000$) each point, so that's 147 000 pound or almost 300 000 $ for 7 mins of work.

147k pounds for max + 10k pounds for high break (thats if no-one else gets a maximum)

So if it holds up (and should) he walks away with an extra 157K pounds or about $312,000 USD. Not bad for 10 minutes work :)

Ronnie was just interviewd and said he was 'disappointed' as he thought it was more money. But said that he'll probably buy a Bentley Continental GTC with the money.

What an incredible match between wenbo and swail!

Yes amazing game, his next match in China could break the 100m viewing figure record. 200million viewers possible in China!

Not bad for a so called "boring" sport! :D

Incredable

The coverage of this event is fantastic. Not only do the show re-plays of some of the shots but at times they take a snapshot of the table layout, covert it to a HD 3D Model and fly the camera down behind the cue so you can see what the player was looking!! Amazing stuff...wish ESPN would catch on to that one. I think it would build more appreciation of how difficult this game can be at all levels.

Stephen Hendry (Sco) 11-5 Ryan Day (Wal)

Peter Ebdon (Eng) 7-9 Ali Carter (Eng)

Ronnie O'Sullivan (Eng) 4-4 Liang Wenbo (Chn)

Stephen Maguire (Sco) 4-4 Joe Perry (Eng)

races to 13, carried over til tommorrow, top 2 will be 1 session? and bottom 2 will be 2 i'm assuming?

Wish people still played here in Canada... Sucks they all switched to pool and now going to poker. I guess coin flips will be the next big thing.

Live right now, Ronnie against Hendry in the Semi Final...should be a cracker.

I hope Hendry takes it this year (never thought I would say that :) )

Hendry just put 140 runtogether on Ronnie O'Sullivan. I'm pullin for O'Sullivan. Good entertainment either way.
