Just completed the new easy-to-use registration packet for the LIVE online broadcast of the US Open 9-Ball.

Click Here to register. There's no obligation to purchase, although the entire event is available for only $14.95.

As a reminder, a portion ($5 of each purchase) will be donated to the American Red Cross through the efforts being made here at AZb.

Free viewing of the 2004 event matches will continue until Sunday 9/18 at which time we will go live with the players meeting and possible special event..

We'd like to hear from you.

Last year I considered paying for the live US Open package, but it was my understanding that I would only be able to watch the live broadcasts which is difficult when it comes to determining 'game time' for a person like me who lives overseas. This year, if I purchase the package, will I be able to view any of the matches at my convenience wether or not they are live or pre-recorded?

I think it's wonderful that you are donating $5 of each purchase to the American Red Cross for the hurricane relief effort. I'm a QVC fan and shop there quite often, and they too are donating a percentage of their wares to the relief effort, 1 and 2 percent of a purchase. One-third is a very generous donation, and you are to be commended. It's a win-win for all.

I'll see you in Chesapeake Beach and look forward to it! :)

I certainly wouldn't critique the sentiment, but I'd prefer to see it going to the salvation army. A greater proportion of the money would end up where it is intended.

The Red Cross is a bit top heavy on the bureaucrat side.

Anyway, these are simply short term solutions, there will be more disasters to follow with federal government left resposnible for disaster relief.

All matches will be archived for later viewing by those who purchase the PPV. So, you can watch it live or delayed.

I watched last year and will again this year. This will be a wonderful improvement on the experience. Thanks.

Will there be any provision for dial up connections? I'd hate to subscribe and not be able to watch. I tried to watch those matches on your site but no way. All I got was changing still pics instead of video.

Are they only showing featured matches? I know a couple of people who might not be featured matches that are from my area such as Jimmy Wetch, Lee Heuwagon and Shane Van Boening. Will I be able to see them too? If I can I will gladly pay the $15. I already have lots of matches of all the top pros.

I'll be signing up but probably won't be able to watch much at all live.

Just a quick question about watching them delayed. Will the delayed movies be in there entirety or will they be partials (skipping games) with advertising like the 2004s that you are showing on the site now?

Sweet, that sold me as long as the matches are full matches and not cut such as the matches of last years event we have been getting. Will archived matches be editted and cut?

All matches will be full uncut, unedited programs, from the player introductions to the final shot and maybe interviews with the players afterwards. There will be commercial spots between some racks, but you won't miss a single shot. We're producing this as if it were live on TV in its entirety, just like any other pro sport TV.

However, you will see before and after technical setup, pre-roll, rewind and other tape set up. We're broadcasting the signal coming directly out of the switcher, which is being taped for tape sales and cable TV broadcast at a later time. So, the production will not look like live NFL. At least not yet.

FYI, the live feed will feature matches from the main tournament table only.

The archived matches will also be full uncut programs. A high speed connection is recommended.

Thanks for watching.

I have purchased some events in the past and looked at some of the free matches you had recently but the quality just isn't good enough for me. I have to have at least tv broadcast qualitly to even consider purchasing another event. Why not have options from small downloads/streams to large ones for the cable/dsl users.
Also if the events could be downloaded instead of streamed you could start the download, leave the computer, and watch it at your conveinence.
Otherwise, I'm just buying accu-stats matches on vhs.

Whats the reasoning behind having it streamed versus downloading it. Do you think people can't copy a stream? As someone with a background in programming, anything viewed on a computer can have a program written to copy it or even easier, I'm sure theres programs already out there on the net that do this.

Nice job in donating money to Katrina charities and putting your stuff online for free for us to try it out.
