Lizard Wraps

I have a relatively new high-end cue (I won't mention the maker's name) with a dyed-black real lizard wrap. I tried some leather conditioner (pretty standard stuff, I thought) which removed dye. Any recommendations for treating the wrap? Thanks.

Best thing would be to contact the cuemaker and tell him what happened. He may have some suggestions since he knows his wrap supplier and he also needs to know so it doesn't happen again--- ie "don't use xxxx on the wrap".

My advice would be to contact Mike Webb right here on Az.
He is one of the best in the biz when it comes to lizard wraps.
