if this is a dupe thread sorry, its new to me, I never saw this before. I was watching Bruce Lee videos and this popped up on the side thingy on YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?annota...&feature=iv&src_vid=uOliM1fySNE&v=Pm-VDuGzJS4

this took a lot of effort to produce, there is some good stuff here for beginners. However i think it could be explained better, I know it so it get it, not sure how well it would comprehended by a begginer. I could be wrong.

At 15 minutes he covers aiming (i'll leave that topic alone)

i'm only 30 minutes into it, so far ok

and yeah bruce lee kicked chuck norris ass!!!!!

later

eric:smile:

At 37 minutes, CJ might have a issue or two, lol. I know I do and I suck compared to him....

I watched that video, great info and great production.

I used the point on the wall tip, it's awesome.

Many things in Tor video are common with CJ vision of play. His automatic aiming system resembles with CJ connection CB and OB system. Also they both advice to not use English, and use sliding.

The Zero-X billiard kicking, banking and this instructional for me are the best videos in the market today.

i'm going to finish watching it, later i watched 1 hour 5 minutes, enough for now. there are a few good things in the video, that are well explaned, some things tho i disagree with, thats besides the point, he took lots of effort and time and its worth the watch IMO.

New video that was posted as soon as it came out.

I am sure that Tor didn't make the video for either yourself or CJ.

Like it or don't. Its free and that is something that is kind of rare these days.

You make a game with Tor Eric, my money will ride on his side.

Worth the time to watch...several good nuggets, some stuff I think is a little oversimplified or wrong. His eschewing of aiming systems is a little wrong, but I think his point about making aiming automatic is spot on...I like his presentation about not getting bogged down in all the calculations while you're shooting. He does drift a little too close to HAMB for my taste. His "sliding cue ball" as a basic reference for post collision tangents is good stuff, but pretty basic. It's consistent with the TOI approach, but very different in terms of the reason for using TOI. I really like his presentation on aiming thin for cut shots...most know this, but we tend to forget it. TOI accounts for that by squirting the CB thinner than your aim, which is why folks like it for thin cuts along the rail.

I don't like his drills...if you watch him run 30 balls with a 20 degree cut down the rail, he's all over the place, with no adjustment. Very forgiving pockets and no attempt to stay off the rails makes for sloppy play down the road. I understand what he's after with his stroke drill running racks with the ferrule in his bridge, out of sight, but would think it might hurt your stroke mechanics a bit. Why practice with a jacked up stroke even if to prove a point on alignment? Just because you can get away with it, doesn't mean you're not screwing with your muscle memory in an unhelpful way.

Now you know the secret behind the TOI System

Who is this gentleman? Has anyone ever heard of him before?

Good video. I ran across it a few weeks ago. I'm going to show my support by purchasing the pack. On instant download.

Great video. Nice focus on getting back to basics and becoming solid in fundamentals. Almost time for me to shoot 2k balls working only on a more repeatable stroke. I have several small things in my stroke which I believe are holding me back. I am ready for my game to jump a couple balls in a couple weeks! Gonna be hard to not play any games at all during that period though.
