I'm not sure if this belongs in the forum but since Don Mooney has played in APA and other leagues on Long Island and played in local tournaments for years maybe somebody here knew him. I just played a match with him last Monday in a 9 Ball tournament at Raxx in West Hempstead and even though he beat me he still bought me a drink. Such a nice guy and a real gentleman.

In 9 days, it will be my birthday and the 20 YR anniversary for my best friends death by a drunk driver! I always wished it was me who passed but I guess you can say I was lucky.

They say time heals?!?! I don't know about that, to this day it feels just as sad as it did 20 YRS ago!

My deepest condolences to the families affected by this unneeded tragedy! May God bring us all closer together!

Life is so precious, in a blink of an eye, it can be gone.

I always kiss my wife and daughters tell them "I love you" whenever I leave or hang up the phone. If something happens, I want those to be my last words to them...

Fleeing the scene of an accident is becoming more common it seems, even in minor wrecks!
