Long Overdue Thank You to Mr. Byrne

I guess that's that. Thanks to everyone who shared their stories!

Robert Byrne is one of the good guys! I think it is necessary that we remind ourselves of what is good in pool occasionally. Pool has a lot of good folks out there! I would imagine more of them than we realize.

That was the book that got me into playing pool. I was a freshman in high school and my library had that book. I would grab it every chance I could - usually remembering one or two gems that would carry to the pool room later that evening.

I learned how to correctly make a bridge as well as the basics of banking from this book - hard to imagine it's been so long ago.

I certainly owe Bob a thank you-- "Thank you!!"
