Hey guys,
I've been reading and learning from you guys for about a year now. Thanks for passing on your knowledge and helping keep the art alive.
Here's the "Long Shot".
A customer of mine would like to replace his severly dammaged butt cap on his Palmer Orig. He refuses to have me make just a new cap because it wouldn't have the logo on it. I can't say I disaggree with him. It is a nice cue certainly worthy of a proper and accurate restoration.
Would anyone have one stashed for such emergencies? Possibly from an old salvage job or something? I told him I would try.
Also, anyone know exactly just how the lettering is done so that it appears to be IN the material as opposed to ON it?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.
I think it is his second design after the original.
White w/black lettering.
Rick
