LONGER SHAFT

I have a friend who is tall and plays with an extension.
Meucci makes a 31" shaft. Does anyone know of a make that
has a longer shaft. He is thinking 32 or 33 would be about right.

The balance point will be way off, just get one of those mid cue extensions that adds a few inches.

That's what I first thought, but now I'm not so sure... wouldn't the added material in a longer shaft be at the joint end too (like an extension there)?

But there's another possible problem: the longer shaft might not fit so well in your case.

I think BeCue makes longer carbon fiber shafts. Like PJ said will it fit in your case??

Wish they made one for a Mike Bender I could use one...Odd sized pins are always an issue..

A shaft that long would play pretty odd, even a 30" vs a 29" changes how it hits and deflects. I have had a few 30" versions of a 29" shaft of the same exact model and there was a clear difference in how they played. Making the butt longer does not affect how the cue plays past the balance and weight, changing the shaft length affect the feel and aim quite a bit.
