Longest fullsplice sneaky points

Got this fullsplice sneaky from a AZ member Ernie in March.
This gaboon ebony/tulipwood cue has the longest points I know.
Points are 13,5inch and razor sharp on top. Bottom points are
handcut and run out a little bit which makes it look handmade.
Cue was delivered with one of Ernie's LD shafts which has an
ultralong parallel tapper. Looks and feels a little strange but it
relay works. It has a soft feel which is caused from the tapper.
But with the ebony front, the fullsplice construction and the
Kamui black M tip it feels more solid. Deflection is real less and
the spin on the cueball holds not only one rail. It's also on the third.
To work against the lost weight for the long tapper Ernie made a
weightsystem into his shafts. Nice idea to work on the balance.
Got also a not finished oversized shaft with insert and collar to get
the shaft finished by Cem to his LD shaft. That I'm used to play
the last 18 month. After adjusting the weight from the butt to what
I prefer and playing with the Cem shaft this cue let me smile about
the hole face. Also impressed from the installed Zan Hybrid Maxx tip.
The ebony front makes an awesome hit and feel with the stiffer Cem shaft.
But now enough from my impressions. Enjoy the pics AZ.

Earnie has the best , no doubt . He is working on a 6 point full splice , with LOoonng points . He does beautiful work . He is in Seattle . do a search for all threads started by Ernie eyocues , most are in test section .

That's a very good looking sneaky. Love the wood combo and those points are sssssharpp! Especially love the tulip wood used as butt cap brings the design to a new level IMO.

Thank you

Thank you all for the kind words.

Sometimes it don't Need to much to get a great looking cue.
Only two nice pieces wood with nice grain or two with the
matching contrast to let this looks great.
This cue lives from it and the real Jet black gaboon ebony
let pop out this great grained and colourfull piece of tulipwood.

I love this combo and I'm looking forward how my 6 veners
fullsplice blank with the ebony nose and the tulipwood will
come out when it's finished.:D
