I've been looking for about three years now, ever since I started making cues. Finally my search is over. I didnt want to pay $300 for a blank so I was patient to find one cheap. My father calls me up about a week ago and says " The thrift store I'm at has acouple house cues, can you use them "? I said for $1.50 apiece what could it hurt. Well after league I come home and see three cues in the corner, after looking at the first two they where old house cues realatively straight. I then notice the last of the three have faded veneers. I pick it up and notice a faded Willie Hoppe written above the number 14. I was in shock, my father found an old Willie Hoppe Titlist for $1.50. So here is what my first Titlist Willie Hoppe conversion looks like. Enjoy.

Lucky dog! Looks good. I once found a Palmer model 15 in a pawn shop. The logo had been rubbed or sanded off so I did not know what it was at the time I bought it. Only paid $15 for it because the shaft was badly warped. Wound up selling it for alot more of course on ebay.

Wow,
Nice find by your father, very nice job on the conversion.
It looks great, congrats.
