Here is a link to the cue I'm looking at buying https://www.ortmann-billiards.com/e..._GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15204264/Products/8705
It is a Bear cue that comes with a standard bear shaft and also comes with a 314-3 shaft. Seems like a decent deal. I have never heard about bear cues until a couple weeks ago and know of nobody that has ever used one. So I'm wondering if any of you have any information on how good they are? I heard falcon makes them for sale in Germany. Quality wise and playability wise I know nothing. I'm just wanting something different and to try something new if it's good quality, rather than follow the pack and buy schon, predator, or etc. Thanks.

Been around for decades and sponsored bustamante for ages.

Some like it hot. Some like it cold. Some like it with some pot ,or so I am told.

it will play like a predator with 314-3 shaft. the rest is cosmetic. i'm not a fan of the bear logo on the sleeve near the joint, but thats just my aesthetic preference. seems like a nice deal, just check so they have compatible extensions

I’m not sure if they still are, but Bear was a line of Adam cues for the European market if I recall correctly. I’d think you could find a better deal if you looked. I believe that cue is made in China, but don’t quote me on it.

Bear cues were made by Falcon iirc.

Yes, made by KPS which is maker of Falcon, Bear and a few others. Quality is like a Lucasi. Good playin cues.

Ya I see what you mean about the bear logo. I guess I'm ok with that. Can you explain what you means about making sure it has compatible extensions? Im not sure what you are referring to by extensions? Thanks

Butt extensions for extra reach. All the rage these days.

many brands are prepared for an extension in the bumper/butt. predator have their own, joss have theirs etc. the alternative is an aftermarket conversion of the butt
