I am looking for a place to move too and set up as a home base.

I need somewhere where there are a lot of players, and also easy to travel to do the coaching clinics i have and will be lining up.

If anyone is interested or knows of any pool room owner who would be interested in me working out of there pool room, and somewhere i can practice also.

Please inbox me or my email is lee@leebrettpool.com

Thanks

Yeah I was going to suggest Atlanta too...

Atlanta, GA

Atlanta is a good place right in the middle of pooldom, 4-6 hours drive time to many other places as well and there is a lot of pool right there...

I would think for mobility and the ability to get around to places somewhere like St. Louis allows you to get to Chicago, Kansas, DCC, all in reasonable a time frame

I agree with Tommy. STL is central................and we could use a talent like yours. The only instructor close to here is Mark Wilson.

And by the way, I really enjoyed your DVD, waiting on the next one.

My question would be what town has a large pool player population with funds enough to support a pool teacher that will welcome a new talent. I doubt there is any one place that is correct out of the box. You will have to take on a location and build a client list. It is obvious to me any city would truly benefit from you being added to their billiard community. Good Luck.

Atlanta

You would be hard pressed to live anywhere as good ,as cheap, and with good folks that love pool as Atlanta.Good food too ! I'm gonna second the
Atlanta choice .Coach Lee if you come here I am more than glad to fill you in
on all I can about any area of the metro ,I have lived in most all of em.

memphis. 3 pool halls that stay pretty busy. a couple wanna be pool halls. one pool hall that stays open 24/7 with all diamond tables.

oh yea.... a buncha bangers that could use lessons

i'm tossing atlanta in the hat again, where else can you drive only 15 - 20 minutes and be at 4 pool halls?!

15 years ago this might have been true. Now, St. Louis would be a hugely bad move -- pool is dead here. We're down to two pool rooms and there is little action. No big table events.

Chicago is a great city to travel from. Atlanta is the only other airport that offers so many direct flights but it's not as centrally located as Chicago.

I don't know how Chicago compares to other cities as a pool scene though.

Nor do we know how well you tolerate cold and snow

Dallas or Ft. Worth?

terrible choice.
lots of players, but no one wants coaching.

Then how about Dallas or Ft. Worth? Obviously Randy G's school is in Dallas and that would provide some competition, but last time I checked DFW was pretty big, plus it seems like most of the action is on the Ft. Worth side nowadays.

Well, I'd love to say my home town...unfortunately, only bar tables here in bars so seedy that the only "pros" around the tables are hookers. Cindy & I drive 40 miles to play in a decent pool hall with 9' tables. :sorry:

So, I'll defer to the other suggestions.

Lee, wherever you go, that location is gaining one supurb instructor.
