Looking For A Copy of Play Your Best Straight Pool

I tried a WTB in the Wanted/For Sale section without luck so I thought I would give it a try over here. I am looking for a good used copy of Capelle's book titled "Play Your Best Straight Pool". I tried all the online stores but can't see spending a hundred bucks on a used book. I realize it's out of print but this seems a little steep to me. If anyone has a copy they would be willing to sell or could point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated.

look for a thread "Getting started", it's beeen discussed there. Post #9 of that thread might be interesting for you. Also in some thread I linked to a Russian internet store at www.probilliard.info , I don't know if they have the book available but according to status on the internet page, they do. You might pm me for the admin email if there is no other option.
 
I actually posted on that thread and plan on picking up the other books mentioned as well as some of the videos. I used to own this book but it was lost when our basement flooded. Now that I'm getting back into pool and my kids are showing interest, I REALLY want this book again. I'll try your link and maybe a couple other routes as well. The local libraries do not cary it or I'd probably go that route.

i have 3 copies.

one is autographed, and is a keeper for me.
2nd one is promissed to Ratta (AZ 14.1 Member)
3rd one is in storage, i will look this weekend if i can find it we will discuss a price.

Goods news gentlemen! I have it from a very reliable source that the book will be back in print within the next month or so. Please pass along the good news to those looking for this fine book.

I Was talking to capelle on facebook and he was unsure as of about a month ago.

i asked if he could convert the book into a Electronic reader format as well. he said he would look into it.

Looks like the book is scheduled to be reprinted. Should be out in about three or four weeks.

When I started looking for the book, I too found it used for hundreds of dollars. I found it new for $24.95 at http://www.bebobpublishing.com.

I have done business with Bob Henning at Bebob in the past and never had a problem.
