His # is 304-671-6811. And you know what? I should call too! I hear he will be finishing up some sweet cues in less than a month.
And on the serious side Cory don't do it.

As was stated before by someone: "The news of my death has been much over-stated."
What I know:
1. Cory is very much committed to building cues. Cue building is a tough business...lots of hard, long hours for not too much reward. The economy has made things tougher. However, I don't think Cory's cues are going away any time soon.
2. Cory very, very rarely ever builds a sneaky anymore...truth is that he can't find many sneaky blanks that are of suitable quality to use. The top level blanks built by custom builders cause the price of the completed cue to be way over-priced for what it is. Cory feels he can build a better, more reasonably priced player than he can a sneaky.
3. Availability of Cory's cues may become very limited due to the demand of his cues in the Asian market, most notably, in the quickly growing Chinese market. However, some recent issues with that may hamper that deal, in the short run.
4. Some folks on here have offered some very nice cues at very good prices. Don't hesitate to pick one of them up, if it is something that you like.
5. Cory has a small "batch" of nice playing cues coming off the fire in a month or so...that is cue-maker time, not calendar time...always remember that. I don't know for sure what Cory has committed and what will be available to the public, if anything.
6. I plan to visit Cory tomorrow. I will try to see what he will have. More info to follow...

Good to hear from you Joe, keep me posted, cheers.
Thanks...will do...I was asked whether I preferred Cory's "new" stiffer shaft taper to his less stiff shaft taper. Funny thing is that his "newer, stiffer taper" is actually his original taper. Some folks wanted a longer taper, so he started offering that taper on his cues, then started making it standard. The vast majority decided that they preferred the original taper which had a firmer playing feel, so he returned to it. He can/will put pretty much any taper that a person wants on a shaft, but for the play/feel that Cory designed his cues to have, that firm taper seems to be what people like...I have it on my cue, and I no longer use a Predator shaft. I prefer an old-growth shaft of Cory's.

My Barnhart player...man, this thing hits good with Cory's old-growth shafts:
