Looking for a cue ~$250

I've recently started getting into pool, and I'm serious enough about it where I want to pick up a decent player's cue. I'm looking for something with a 12.5mm-13mm shaft that is around 18-19 ounces. I'm not too concerned with cosmetics, but I would prefer something that is relatively simple and plain but isn't a SP (I'm not very good and I don't want to be "that" guy in the pool hall with a flashy cue who can't shoot worth a damn :o). I've been reading the board for the past few weeks, so I'm pretty familiar with what's been posted. There are a couple I am considering making an offer on, but I figured it was worthwhile to post a thread and see if anything else crawls out of the woodwork before moving forward on the others. :)

TIA.

Oh, and to clarify I am looking for a player's cue. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. My initial post has been edited to reflect this.

Here's one $250 Shipped to your door!

Jeremy Wenner player out of Pennsylvania. Cue is made of nice Zebra and Curly maple. With Fancy Zebra rings at all positions! Cue is in 90% condition. Has a very minor credit card thin lift from the very butt end when rolled-Tip does not leave the ground. Top view when rolled, rolls straight! VERY un-noticeable and does not effect play at all what so ever. Laminated Shaft on the other hand is straight! I can take pictures if needed. Otherwise this cue plays lights out, and also comes with a nice low deflection laminated shaft!

Specs: Length- 58.5 (Butt 29" shaft 29.5")
Weight - 18.5oz
Joint -Wood w/Stainless Radial
Shaft - Flat laminated LD shaft @12.7mm, Micarta ferrule w/Moori Med

********** $350 Shipped/Insured in the Continental U.S.!! CLOSE OUT $250 SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR!!!

Good luck in your search. You will have no problem finding something you like as there are a lot of cues for sale daily. My 2 cents is if you have played with a specific brand that you like (maybe your buddy's or someone's at the pool hall) try to stick with it but, if you are looking for something as a investment/player and something you can trade up in time try a lower end custom cue. Just my 2 cents...... Joe

P.S. If you are looking for a players cue (custom ) I have a thread with one for sale that will be within your price range.
