I have a 7' brunswick and want to install new cushions and cloth. I have the simonis and speed bumpers. in the burbank il, oaklawn il area

Hey Rob, It's a 7' Brunswick, I think it's a Bristol. I already have the speed bumpers and Simonis cloth.

I will be in the chicago area this weekend' but..I will be there for a basketball tourny, I won't have the time to do the work. All though I could pick up the rails or arrange to have you drop them off to me.. and work on them back home and ship them to you when done...
Let me know'

I may be wrong and often am but when you say speed bumpers do you mean Superspeeds? If so I've never seen a Bristol with Superspeeds on it, they come with a Centennial cushion on them or a u23 profile . Doe's anyone agree with that?

I've replaced a few Bristol cushions, but used the Century's that Mueller's sell for Brunswick replacements:

Most (not all) of the Bristol series were particle board rails and may be tough changing profiles and to me just not worth it. I think some of the later Bristol II's had some hardwood rails but still not worth the price to change them out.

By "speed bumpers" are you referring to the Centennials or Centurys by chance?

I agree. No bristols with superspeeds on them. They use trademarked "centennial" or replacement "century" or U56 profile cushion. I have never seen u23.

table

Bristol definitely has centennial cushions on it'. The table also was made in a 6' model, the 6' table could of had U23 on it...but I don't know if brunswick ever used U23 cushions....
So' if your referring to the cushion you have as superspeed cushions they will not fit up on your bristol table..

Maybe its not a bristol? I thought it was. I bought it a few years ago from a Brunswick dealer that closed

table'

Could you post us a picture of your table for a positive ID, You could cut the cloth off a rail and expose the cushions, the superspeed cushions will have superspeed printed on them...

Can you post a pic of the table? There should be a sticker with the name of the table on the underside of the table somewhere.

Some of the contender series tables also use a Truespeed cushion, same dimensions as a Superspeed but without the canvas control strip on it.
