long story short, bought one of the adam/helmstetter/balabushka limited editon cues when it first was released about 13? years ago. in this time, the signature has smudged off. decided to see if I could send in the cue to have it rewrapped, refinished (small dings in forearm/buttcap) and a new signature. but I cant find a website for adam cues? cant even find a picture of my cue on the internet. I have all documentation for the stick, only thing I don't have is the blue velvet case it came in because I left it in the office of the pool hall I used to work in.

any help on this info? would be much appreciated, thanks

Refinishing is one thing, but I wouldn't worry about saving or reproducing a signature
on an Asian reproduction production cue.
It is a much nicer cue without that signature, and the value isn't affected either way.
It also doesn't make sense to have Adam refinish the cue, when local people can do it.

First, and foremost, welcome to the forum. We're always looking for new members who will post responsibly, be polite and courteous, and disavow any association with SpaceBook.
As to your question. I haven't got a clue. The Blue Book of Cues might help.
I personally wouldn't put the signature back on the forearm. Have it re-wrapped with Courtland like linen, then have the cue maker refinish it in semi-gloss. It will look more like an original Balabushka.

Try contacting Don at Competition sports in New York. He may be able to help.

if your cue hits great never send it out for anything it doesnt absolutely need.
you never know what your are getting back.

I thought the "signature" was under the finish. I gotta check mine now.

Under what layer of the finish?

Maybe the logo signature is put on the cue right before the final finish and over time the outside finish has worn down enough so that the signature has rubbed off.

FWIW, I think they look better without that big signature. Balabushka never signed his cues. I bought an ADAM Japan Hall of Fame cue (Balabushka copy) specifically because it didn't have the signature. It was made by the same people on the same equipment, but not sold under the Balabushka line.

Mine looks like this one:
