I am looking for a good everyday playing cue that is in good condition but I am seeking a used cue because I can not afford to buy a new one.

Good priced good quality cue. Schuler, Schon, anything etc...

I have a new 5 point Ariel Carmeli cue for $750 shipped.

5 gaboon ebony points in a birds eye maple forearm, each point has an ivory diamond inlay at its base and each point is tipped with a spear with an ivory inlay, gaboon ebony butt sleeve, black phenolic joint & butt cap with an AC logo.

Long 3/8x10 steel joint pin, flat faced wood to wood joint, black w/white specks linen wrap, includes original joint protectors, signed by Ariel Carmeli, 2 13mm shafts, 58”.

Butt is 15.5oz, shafts are 4.1 & 3.8oz. One shaft has a Moori tip and the other has a WB tip. This cue is new/unhit and is a design no longer made by Ariel. Everything is straight and perfect. This is probably the only pointed Ariel Carmeli cue you'll find for under a thousand.

That's a helluva deal on that Carmeli, and the Espiritu for that matter. I just prefer the Carmeli. Bump...Tom
 
I have a nice Shurtz cue that is new for 335.00....Look for my posts for Shurtz...if you want I can sent pictures....

i hear ya, i lucked out and bought an 8 pointer of snakewood holly ebony and ivory for 850 lol. it was a custom made one too, no AC stamp just a signature. it is such a nice cue. Carmelis play very well too...for me that is anyways.

You can get a Dominiak Cue for under $400, you would actually have a lot of options in that price range. www.Dominiakcue.com, I bought one and love it, and if you ask around the forums I think the majority of people who have purchased one also would say that it is a great cue for the money. The only complaint I have heard and also had was the taper in the shaft, however, Mr. Dominiak has changed his taper after he had many requests.

It isn't new, but most consider it the ultimate player, and I will let it go for close to your price..

I have an old Tim Scruggs Sneaky Pete, light Goncola Alves...even has some "character" greying of the grain in one area. Specs:

One shaft, 12.85mm, nice, dark wood with some curly in it
5/16x14 piloted joint
18.9 ounces (shaft: 3.9, butt: 15.0)
Has the old style "TS" between the points
