I've seen a post from Realkingcobra about a brace he added to a gc4 to keep the ends from sagging. But I can't find it. At least I think thats who posted it. I've got my 4 torn down and although I have'nt seen any sag in the end slate I figure it would be a good time to take the precaution. If I remember correctly its was just some L channel and some solid screws? Thanks Don

Here you go:

Use 4 angle irons-two on each end (one on each side). If you have any questions you can shoot me a PM. Donny (SDBilliards) performed this modification on my "4" when he set it up. Not sure exactly what fasteners he used but they are hex head and tighten with a wrench, not a screwdriver. If you need, I can ask him.

Cool I can do that! Thanks

Your quite welcome. It's a quick, easy, and cheap solution and it works. It completely eliminates the problem with the way they designed those end pieces to bolt into the ends of the main support of the GC4 frame.

But don't thank me, thank RKC for coming up with it and sharing the info for the benefit of all of us. ;) Just glad I could help you locate the info.
