Alot depends on your personal taste...an Entry level cue may run around 1100-1500. Points can start @1800 and run up to 2500 (depending on the wood choices). 2500 + if you want a Franklin! I may part with some of my SW's later in the year, in order to fund a project. Stay tuned to this site. Good Luck.

I agree 100% on the prices noted above.

I have JF era that is awesome playing and looking but entirely overpiced.

Resell is good, so I guess it doesnt matter.

Check out this site.

Check out www.indyq.com . I don't know who runs it or how reasonable his prices are... All I know is that I go to that site to see what I would drop a couple of grand on when I have it to drop.

Roy @ IndyQ has alot of SW's...and all of his Q's are in pristine condition! Hence, he demands the Premium on all of his cues. He stands by all of his sales and is very easy to work with. Payment plans are available. His site is worth checking out if you want to get into a SW.

Ktown D has a super nice one and it's probably half price compared to IndyQ.

Tank 138 has a franklin era cue for sale also if interested pm him here on the boards...............:)

I just sold a brand new 6 point cue unchalked for $2200 to find that these cue dealers are asking $3000 for them. Cant belive the mark up of some cue dealers but if someone is willing to pay that so be it.

Hey thanks guys for all the info. I emailed roy at INDYQ and never got a response back. I have talked to him in the past about other cues, but never SW's. But my wife gave me permission to finally be able to get one so im going to get the one I want. Ive had a lot of great offers on SW's since posting and I really appreciate it. Im just trying to make up my mind on which one I want.
Once again I really appreciate all the feedback guys.

Thanks buddy. It really is a super cue and I am about to put it up on the block I think. Considering I just got the new Gilbert in, I now officially have way more cues than I can possibly play with.
