Looking for $ action

In that case huckster, if Antonio is your player you must give up some weight to most players, unless you play Archer, Immonen, Parica, or Morris. If your near Canada try giving Alex a call. If you would like I would bet on all of these guys over Antonio. You can also get a game with guys like Shannon Daulton, Tony Watson, Eric Durbin, James Welden, Cliff Joyner, Jeremy Jones, Charlie Williams, Amar Kang and John Schmidt if you give them a little weight, some of them may or may not even ask for any. By the way Antonio dont have to win those games especially if you play one pocket, then Antonio can get a little weight. If your champion is so good he can give up weight like Archer, Alex and Parica do, and still get the gold.

Before you embark on a betting frenzy against Antonio Lining, perhaps you should keep these notes in mind...

* Efren remarked that if he had one player he had to back, it would be Antonio.

* Efren and Antonio already matched up SEVERAL TIMES back in the Phillipines. They go back and forth...

* Antonio gives Bustamante a spot when playing rotation.

You were mentioning Archer, Immonen,Morris, and Alex ? Wow...

Lining is currently ranked 19th in the word.

I can safely assume that you're not too familiar with the gambling scene...? Here's a piece of advice for Mr.Hondo and others who cling to the ranking system. If you insist on betting according to the player's ranking, then you will quickly become the best of friends with your local lending institution and an ATM machine.

Condor, i was just stating a fact. Have you actually read
the other comments about Lining. You bet on the other
guys if you're mad at your money.

Yah!! Efren, Busta, Archer, Pagulayan, and all of those other guys don't know how to gamble!!

In case you are new to the pool scene, just about every top ranked player in the world got that good because they gamble.

We now live in modern times where the internet is a tool used to accomplish many tasks. How many towns have you seen known champions go to where they do not get played unless they offer the absolute nuts? This is why some of the best players in the US are struggling to make a living on the tournament circuit because they can not get a game. There are many knowledgable pool people who post and lurk on this board. There are also some very accomplished players. (McCready, Grady, Sarah, etc.) who post here. Antonio has played Grady in the past. The days of showing up in a town as an unknown and busting that town are from days past. The pool detectives on the internet will have a player exposed at once. We are just attempting to cut through the extra crap. We are interested, will anyone else be? Who knows but it is worth a try.

Huck

I hope you are on the right track with your request, only time will tell. It would be interesting to hear hear how things work out for you. Maybe this could lead to something and your are right, it is definitely worth a try.

enough of the woofing and barking

Thank you! THis is how it should be done. Lets use the internet to our advantage. Not name calling.

Well since you're heading south through the Carolinas for TW and then to Mobile for Schmidt, you may as well stop in Atlanta. Something will happen. Archer may or may not play when it comes to even action, but if a little something is given up there's a few other guys there who might give your boy a try. I'm sure Reed Pierce in Jackson, MS would give y'all a little flutter as well.

Let's see there is corey, troy, putnam, dee, and several sharpshooting undergrounders who would hang me if i posted their name on here. So its not a given that its corey.

How's Troy hit'em for the big cash? You'd have to head to Fla to catch him this winter.

Troy is an amazing player, especially for the money, that seems to be where he excels. However, everytime I see him play I get the feeling that he hasn't reached his full potential. He has a complete and deadly pool game, but he gets down on himself if he makes mistakes or gets bad rolls, and that sometimes spells the end of a match.

Nonetheless, if you get a chance to see him play and haven't yet, I'd go watch. A very unique stroke and a powerful player.

Floptit,
This is exactly what we are looking for. You can reach me at (330) 740-8332. I have a lot of respect for John's game and we would be interested in either matching up playing 9ball, ten ball, or rotation. we could meet at a nuetral tournament site.

Who in Columbus would like to play? We could freeze up a nice sum in order to play. It could be the first leg of our road trip considering I am only a few hours from Columbus.

I hope action materializes from this "experiment" I have been on the road many times with a lot of strong players, and the hardest thing I found is not booking winners but finding games that the bet and the match-up is in line. Most backers, and players find themselves in a position that they feel they must make a game and that is when they find themselves getting out of line by giving up the nuts. We are attempting to shortcut the system and find strong players and backers who want to match-up even with a chance to make a large score at our expense. It seems this may work out as I have quite a few private contacts on getting a game lined up.

Huckster, as part of your experiment can you keep us posted on where you are on your road trip? I would love to come watchs some of the matches in Ohio, especially if Deuel and Lining get down. Also, you may have some roadplayers showing up if you keep us posted on where you are.
