Hello to all,

We'll its about time for me to take a larger step into the world of billiards. Im looking into starting to create my own masterpieces. The back story here is that I have recieved over 20 old original one piece dufferin house cues and im looking at converting them into sneaky petes and break and break/jump cues. I dont need anything fancy yet. I just want to be able to do the following.

Tips, collers, tenons, ferrules, Butt caps, wraps, joints and shafts. Basicly anyhting I would need to make very simple sneaky petes etc.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best place to purchase all the equipment I would need and exactly what i need to buy.

if your rich then go shopping, other than that i would try to be-friend a fellow who had the equipment neccessary to convert a few cues. You can then be much more educated on how you want to proceed. I've found that most people i talk to too are more than willing to share or teach you a few things. But the advice of buying a full blown deluxe is the best if you want to just go for it. With a little imagination you can probably do most anything on it.
