hello everyone, Im new to the forums. Starting playing pool again after a long hiatus. I have my own pool table and I play 2-3 hours a day. I mostly play by myself, and because of that I find it very difficult to get better. Im looking for an instructor in my area (chicago) that I can meet on a weekly basis to help me straighten out any bad habits. Thanks

I have a Gold Crown in my game room and I sometimes give lessons - but only to motivated players. You can PM me for details.

Another to try in the area is Larry Schwartz.

Contact "Rack'em Up Billiards" in Buffalo Grove. I hear they have an ACS Advanced Instructor and former staff instructor from CUE U that teaches out of there !!!!

coyote...I am here in the Chicago area for the next several days. If you're interested, I will come to you at your house. I will also video record your entire lesson, for your permanent review. PM me your number, or give me a call.

Scott was up here in Wisconsin at my house just after Thanksgiving for a full day. That was a very good investment on my part, Scott helped me out a lot and I also learned much. You cant go wrong working with Scott.

fastone371...I had a great time working with you...but YOU put in the hard work afterwards. That's where the payoff comes from! Hope to see you again (man it was SOOOO COLD that night! LOL).

How many instructors do you think you will need, are you that bad ??

Easy there R.J. the reason I asked for other instructors is so I know what my options are. by the way, its funny that you recommended that I contact Rack em up:wink: I wonder who they would of had me call.
