Okay you have narrowed it down to new 7 ft. for a casual play home table in the $3,000 range. Some of your choices for good quality name brands are, Brunswick, Olhausen and Golden West. I think I would contact these table manufacturers and see what kind of a deal they can give you. Brunswick list the prices on their website, but the others don't.
Another option, and probably the best in my opinion, would be to buy a good used table since there are so many folks out there that buy these home furniture tables and soon find out that they really have no interest in the game and decide to sell it for a real good price. Heck, for 3,000 bucks you could probably get a top-of-the-line barely used table, or even a commercial. The Diamond 7 footer would be the very best table for you, but it's highly unlikely you will see one of those listed for sale, if so it won't last long for sure. Another good used option in the commercial 7 ft. category would be the bar boxes, like Valley, and Dynamo. If you are wanting something that holds value, the old commercials will far out perform the usual furniture grade table in that category as well. Basically the market is flooded with the casual home furniture tables, so value is next to nothing and likely to stay that way. If you are just a buyer that could be a good thing. Hope this helps, and good luck in the search.
