Looking for cue case liners

Okay. I'm thinking about building my own cue case. For me. Not to sell. But, I need the liner, the molded plastic or foam or even clothe (I guess) thingy, to build my case around.

Anyone know a source for such things?

Since you are starting with such low volume, it might make sense to just harvest a liner out of another case. Tons of cheap ones out there.

Tubes- Home Depot (electrical or plumbing)
Foam- Home Depot or a package shipping place
Cloth- Hancock Fabrics
Hardware- Hardware stores, luggage parts supply companies
Leather - leather supply company or second hand furniture or good will (long leather coats)

Heya.. I'm also getting started on making leather cases. Definitely easiest if you buy a cheap case and just strip off the exterior to use. You can even use the cap/lid so you don't have to make a lid. The next step would be to use pvc tubes and just line them. If you search around on here and look at pictures of cases you can find some very nice examples.

Also, if you haven't already.. definitely check out Tandy Leather Factory. They are incredibly helpful people and will definitely have all your material needs. I highly recommend checking out the 'How to build cases' series of books. Good luck and looking forward to seeing your work in the future. Drop me a line anytime.

I know this thread is really old but people will still stumble upon this. As for liners, I would try that pipe insulation foam at any big box store and a really thin wall pvc pipes.
