Greetings,
Does anyone have any information regarding Cuecomponents? I've been trying to contact them for a few weeks now without success.

Cue Components of Florida
1215-C Williams Road
New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168

Our phone number is 386-424-0300 (please read below)
Monday thru Friday (9am - 5pm or 6pm)
Saturday & Sunday - Sometimes (10am to 5pm)

If no answer, please leave your name, number and a very brief message. We delete long and drawn out messages.

Our phone policy: Please do not call to pick our brains or to just shoot the breeze. Time is precious and we're very busy. You do not need to call us to place an order; you can do that more efficiently and quicker online. If you have a question about a product, feel free to call. We do not provide 'how-to instructions' or 'free lessons' on cue construction over the phone. If we know you and we've built up a friendship, we are more inclined to offer out our advice and knowledge. Unless you've purchased from us or have taken our courses, we do not offer any phone support to anyone we do not know. Do not waste our time or yours with trying to pick our brain (what little we have left). Please respect our wishes.

search 'cuecomponents' on AZ and you will find other customer "unfriendly" things about these people.

heres the readers digest version

"dont call us, dont ask questions, dont try to get to know us, we dont like you. We however will gladly take your money via the website that way we dont have to talk to you."

On a possitive note, I placed a custom order via PRATHER cue parts. One of the best customer service experiences ive ever had, not just in the pool world. The order will be here tuesday and I can then give feedback on the actual products.

Not the experience I've had with Joe. He's always been very helpful and willing to share information. I'm not sure what's going on but it's very unlike Cuecomponents to drop off the radar.

My interpretation of Joe's statement above is that he is kinda tired of deadbeats calling him just to pick his brains. It takes a lot of time to stop what you are doing to answer the phone (even though I always do it and sometimes wish I didn't) just to find out that it is not a cue customer but just some person with a lot of time on their hands and nothing to do but talk on the phone. I have found that being nice to everyone always pays off in the long run even though I slip-up sometimes and can be kinda short especially if I am very busy at the moment.

Joe has always treated me properly. He and I have purchased products from each other over the years.

Good cuemaking,

Good cuemaking,

Well said?

From a customer's viewpoint and business standpoint, it sounds a little onesided or self serving to me. I have not had but one neutral experience with Cuecomponents (not good, not bad), so I don't direct that statement to them, but to any retail establishment that looks at potential customers inquiries as a burden.

Nice site...very informative...even so, no replacing good customer service.

Okay, let me return to my original post. I have been attempting to contact CueComponents for the last few weeks without success. Has anyone been able to make contact or know what's going on with this company. I'm really not interested in personal opinions regarding the interaction or customer service.

Thanks
Brian

Sorry

Sorry. Didn't mean to offend you. I felt you had been answered in the above posts and thought I would add my two cents in this public forum. Please accept my apologies if it's me you are speaking of.

Hello To All....

We're here alive and well. We have just returned from an unexpected emergency which took us out-of-town for a couple of weeks. Please email or call us after Tuesday, September 12, 2006 as we're inundated with email, orders and just plain trying to catch-up with things. If the email or call can wait we'd appreciate it right now. Thank you for your considerations.

And, Arnie.... Thanks, you're dead on!

I also completely agree, I have been doing business with them over the past year.

There was only one problem with an order during that time, which was handled in a professional manner very quickly.

All I can say, is that I am very happy doing business with them!!!!!!!
