Find you a good looking Valley for your first attempt, cost will be around 10% or less what you will pay for a blank.

I was looking for a full splice blank to make my first cue, just want to make a simple sneaky pete. I was looking around for a good priced blank and figured I would check here for help to see if anyone would sell one to me or where would be the best place to buy one. Thanks in advance, Cody

I have Dufferin blanks in Ebony, Purpleheart and other plainer woods. They are Dufferin blanks and there may be some gaps in the splice. Dufferin filled these with a wood filler when they were producing their cues.

I sell the ebony and purpleheart for $25.00 and the others for $10.00. I also have some two piece in Ebony and Rosewood (I believe) at $35. These are also unfinished and have room to cut them.

A number of cuemakers on this site have bought these from me.

Hey Cody ... How far are you along in cue making?
If you just want a full splice blank got to your local pool hall and pick out a nice looking house cue.
See if they have any broken cues and cut it down into a butt.

Schelmke is very reasonable on their full spliced butt blanks.

A good source for used house cues is also a vending company that has pool tables in your area.
