Looking for lessons in New York

Fran Crimi and Amsterdam Billiards are first rate. Pleased to hear you had such a good lesson with Fran, who is a shining presence in NYC pool.

And yes, Thorsten has been known to make more than an occasional visit to Amsterdam, and we're always glad to see him.

Come see us again in the Big Apple sometime, Gerhard.

PS Yup, parking can be a little tough.

What, Fran is a LADY???

JK.

Nice writeup! I had a lesson with Fran a few years ago. I won't hijack your thread with my particulars, but you can read my review here:

Glad to hear you had a good time and learned a lot, I know I did. BTW real nice photo of Fran, you captured my recollection of her personality perfectly.

Muziq...How many (if any) of the instructor's on your top five list have you worked with so far?

Gerhard,

Thanks for posting the review of your lesson with Fran. She and I have communicated via email, IM and phone. She's been very helpful and I look forward to having the opportunity to take a lesson with her when I get the time and money to return to NY. She's definitely on my top five list of instructors I'd like to receive instruction from as I progress in this game we love.

Also, congrats on getting to meet Thorsten! Regarding your dinner outing, it'll be very rare to not find quality food of your choice in NYC! That's always the least of my concerns when I'm there and I'm Vegan :-)
