My pool room, the PettyPoint Pool Hall, is being featured this month in the October issue of Billiards Digest magazine. There's some pictures.

Oh yeah! I saw the article and pictures in the new BD and collected a bunch of them for you to send to you from the Open, but, I left them all in Ron Park's car (who happens to have a Player Spotlight in the issue as well).

SPetty has got The Best Little Poolhouse in Texas and I say it from experience as she welcomed me to her home for a weekend back in June. I can't wait to go again! Her poolroom is the best that I'd ever seen posted anywhere, hands down! Amenities and all!

The main thing I'm thinking of is the color scheme... to white/biege right now.

I've been thinking of a projector too.... probably a '90 diagonal, but that area of the basement is only 12' deep... but I like to sit quite close at the movies, so it may work.... it's already wired for surround through the walls by the previous owner, but he only had a 60"

For decorations.... just lots of cool pics... colorfull paintings/paint (thinking a kind of mexican colour scheme).... here is a pic of my living room which suites my style, but I don't want to go red in the pool room.

Here are some pics of my pool room. My wife and I moved into this house about a year ago, I was excited because the room was large enough for a 9 foot table (Gold Crown 3). In the background of a few pics you'll see my record collection I have about 3000. There are a couple of pics showing the pocket size of the table, I had them cut to about 3 and 7/8. This table plays very tough I would love to see if a pro could beat the 9 ball ghost in a race to 7. Peace.

I am also looking for some ideas. I will be finished sanding the drywall this week and primering the walls next week. I'm really exited about having my pool room and basement finished. The only problem is that I want my room to look great once it's finished and I have this blank slate to work from. Not sure on what carpet, paint, pictures, etc. I have a nice start though, Oak 9' Diamond Pro with matching light on center stage. Hopefully some more room pictures will get posted to help with my decisions.

I just finished my basement last year (with help) for the sole purpose of fitting a 9’ table. I gutted the space, moved columns and beefed up a beam. It sure helps to know an engineer or two!

First image is the plan which makes the whole project a breeze if followed. The next image is the finished product. It ain't great but it's all mine!

Hope this gives you an idea or two…

I notice you have snooker balls, and dots on your table... How big are the pockets on the table? Also, is there some sort of conversion kit to round out the pocket corners?

While I'm not so hot on posting pix for the world to see of my ugly mug, or the lovely faces of the wife and kiddies ... for sure I'll jump in with a shot or two of my room, which is still in mighty rough shape, lol. Hope everybody keeps this thread going.

Those are SWEET rooms there people. I had to give up my room/black GC4/and mental stability when we moved down here to FLA!.........Tiny houses here by the beach (1600 sq.ft.)....BUT...we have a 2 car garage thats just aching to be converted..........Gerry

and i totaly agree with gerry. U ARE MAKING ME SICK!! i have to play in a crap poolhall with 6" tables, balls that have the same "smooth" surface of the moon, clubcue that have the nicest collection of unbalanced, weird sound making mushrooming tips u can imagine. dont got the bucks for a cue, let stand a pool table.. u just runed my greath night out with the girl
