I sure do wish I could attend this event, BEGINNING TONIGHT, KWilson, in Kernersville, NC. As I recall from my younger days, Kernersville is smack in the middle between Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
BTW, I heard it through the grapevine that Jerry the Toe will be there. He is a Southern gentleman and always enjoys a little friendly game. So, if you see The Toe this weekend, tell him JAM sent you!
The Toe is depicted in the picture on the left!
Nothing finer than a tournament in the Carolinas, you lucky duck!

I noticed the cut-off for the tournament was last night. However, I'd call them up and see if they filled the 64-player field. Maybe you've got a shot to get in it. I'm sure there will be somebody there who will scratch your itch if you're looking to play some.
If you go, Kwilson, I hope you come back and give us an update!

well crap i should have checked the tourneys......im right up the road from kernersville. Hey kwilson, do you live in gboro? i live in martinsville.......we head down that way sometimes to play, usually over at coliseum billiards, always heard lots of action to be had at cue n spirits in winston salem,.....theres one in greensboro too but never seen any money moving there, more like a funsy place.

What sort of action would you like? I used to live in Greensboro, and have many friends still there. I can make a call and get you a game anytime. 1 hole, 9 ball, or anything you'd like.
Time Out sports Lounge...New place, never heard of it. Had to be built in the last 4 years. Sounds like a good tourny, glad to see pool spreading around those parts. Not too much else going on there!!
Coliseum Billards is a good action spot late nights. They love 1 hole there. Eddie Garris (Owner) is a good friend, and great guy. He has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen. It IS a little rough around that neigborhood, (Florida St.) though. If you make it in, please tell him I said hello!!
Daytime....B.G. McGee's on High Point Rd, usually has something going on. I'm sure you can find a game, if you look. FORGET going there at night.
