Why don't you just step up and take over this thread and get ahead of Raecarmia looking for a Tad! You could at least have the decency to PM Zatoichi about the Tads.

Gosh I thought I was just clarifying if the poster was merely showing some Tads or offering them for sale, but now I see I was being indecent. Thanks for showing me how to act properly. I've edited my post. I hope you now find my behavior acceptable.

Thanks again

Kevin

Nice Tads

The first two is prelogo

I really like those 2 older Tads of yours. If they are for sale, and if Raecarmia doesn't want one or both of them, could you perhaps let me/us know what the price is (if you have one)?

*hoping I did that OK*

Thanks

Kevin

You have to upload your photos on the internet before posting.

I suggest http://www.imageshack.us.

Oh, and forgive my lack of knowledge, but how can we confirm that they are Tad Kohara's if they are pre-logo?

I THINK (and many here know more on the subject and hopefully one of them can chime in) that Tad put a serial number on every cue (even the old ones) under the bumper.

Kevin

PS I was going to say something about the non-loaded pics but I didn't want to get in trouble so I waited for the OP to mention in.

Hoppe Tad

I have a Hoppe Tad with less than 10 hours of play on it.

As shown in my Avitar.

Let me know if anyone as any interest.

Nice try, but it's not the direct link to the image. I reuploaded it for you, resized with tags.

I'd like to see better pics myself, if possible.

All Tad's have a serial number underneath the rubber bumper that you can check. Take the serial number and just email Tad, or his son Fred, the serial number and ask for verification on the number and cue to ensure that they match. Be prepared to wait a while for the response though.

I just recently sold a PJ Tad that had a serial number of around 25xx and purchased another that has a serial number of 26xx. His cues that were made in the 80's will probably have serial numbers in the range of 500 - 1000, I think. Can someone verify that?

I believe Tad's contact info (email) is in the blue book of cues (3rd edition).
