Found and purchased a cue...........thanks for all of the responses.

Looking to buy a wrapless cue: $1000-1500 range.

Under 19.5 oz
Shaft size is not that relevant. I actually prefer 12.5-12.7mm
Cue can be in used, but needs to be in very good condition.
Don't like fat butts. :)

Looking for a player that looks good.........

This was my exact suggestion, even before I read your reply.

OP, this is another endorsement of the wrapless 8 point James White that mel_smog has. I played a handful of racks with both shafts and it's a super cue. Looks good and plays great. You won't be disappointed and he may come down a couple hundred for you. At $1700 it's still a good deal, but he may move a little for you. Good luck with your search, but this one is hard to beat.
 
I prolly had a hundred responses. Thanks for everybody's help. I bought a wrapless cue this morning. Super nice burl handle Paul Dayton.
