Hello everybody,

Does anybody know where I could get a used SouthWest 6 pointer or plain-jane for about $1600 or less?

$1600 or less, you'll be hard pressed to find a 6 point Southwest. You might have better luck with a Southwest without points for that budget. Summer time you're more likely to get better deals as the season for pool slows down then and deals can be had. Good luck with the search.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Before this post goes in a different direction, I would really like to stress the word USED. I am really only looking for something I can play with- I don't mind if it has dings, scratches, etc., as long is it is pretty close to straight.

If a six pointer is a little out of my reach, I would be interested in a plain-jane, or a satin- if it is a decent price.

I really value everyones opinion on this forum!

I will talk to my friend about his,he was going back to school and looking to sell it,its a gorgeous six pointer,i think he wanted $1800,i will check into it for you when i see him.
 
i recommend u call Vince Tedesco. He may have some pacifiers.. they cost 800 new i think when off the factory, and ard 900-1200 outta market. Dick price is off but if u are desperate for a SW well... For SW its a sellers market anyway..

You might be able to get a 6 point maple nosed SW on fleabay for that price.
Take your time and be patient.

Not anymore. 3 months ago he was asking $2200 for a 6 pointer. :D

Andy whoever you might be, have you ever done business with me?
Have I ever offended you either publically or privately?
Are you name calling because I would not sell you a cue for a price you offered, buy a cue from you for a price you wanted or did not want a trade you offered?
Just curious.
 
I have personally done business with Mr Abott and had a great experience. To all those that hop on this forum and bad mouth cue dealer/makers provide a specific example how you were done wrong instead of writing general comments that can cause a negative impact on their business!

Oh and I am not a dealer or collector so I have nothing to gain.

Shane ,i dont know if you found a Southwest or not but Titlistsucker has a beautiful one on e-bay you might get for the money you have available....... Also just so you know Raist is top notch as others here will agree with me .......... No worries at all........ John:)
 
2100 seems to be a good sellers price. On a side note I talked to dick about trading or buying my judd and he is a very nice gentleman to deal with even though he decided not to purchase. Well Hope someone out there has a SW for 2100.
