Looking to buy SouthWest

2100 seems to be a good sellers price. On a side note I talked to dick about trading or buying my judd and he is a very nice gentleman to deal with even though he decided not to purchase. Well Hope someone out there has a SW for 2100.
$2100 seems to be right around the going price for a SW. I don't think you will have a problem finding one for that price. Good luck.

If you could get with Cue Addicts, I know Scott Murphy has several that fit your requirement. Sean may check the posts and may have something also. Don't know if they are in Valley Forge yet or not.

This will be a warning for all of the personalities you post under.

Keep in mind, if I ban one, all four will be banned.

Well i have been thinking the past Few hours about responding to your post.i went back and forth thinking should i or not ? Shane i don't have a SW so i really can't help you buy one.it's none of my business but i really have been wondering why you responded the way you did.two and a half weeks ago you posted on OUR board for HELP to buy a SW.in that time some of the Best most experienced posters and collectors have posted responses in trying to help you...you obviously have reached a point in your life where financially you can afford a so called high end cue...be proud of that..you should know by now that a SW is a HOT cue to buy and sell.they don't last long under for sale.like other posters have stated be patient you can/will get one..set your sights on a design that u really would like...... to take out your anger on these people because no cue was available is nonsense..i sincerly hope that whatever set u off to respond that way does not hit u ever again..:)

Mr. Wilson, I hope that you don't consider me to be an alias of ShaneS. I have been friends with ShaneS for a long time and I do let him use my computer from time to time. If you check you will see that he doesn't use this IP as often. He is a funny guy that likes to joke around and most people need to take the things he says as jokes. I hope you don't hold me responsible for his actions.

Very dissapointed in poor moderating.:(

Mr. Wilson,

I am sorry that you feel this way. Go ahead and ban me. It seems most on here didn't care for my jocular comments and witty, sarcastic attitude anyway. And they were jocular and sarcastic; I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

I'm also incredibly surprised that it took you (moderator) this long to catch on.
Also, 1-Pocket-Player is a different user. He, Andy, is a good friend of mine, and often times I log onto MY account from his house. Since you do have the IP addresses, you shouldn't have a hard time confirming this.

So long, and farewell to everyone on this forum. I hope people didn't take my posts too seriously!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

coolllll out Sir

They gave me the cold sholder when I started posting here but now all ruffeled feathers are smooth. Take a chill pill and try to respectfully take every post less seriously and no volgariteis! 3 days from now no onw will rember your first strike. Lesson learned. Good folks here. No need for toe stomping! We try to help each other not hurt each other. Quite a nice deal I think. Nick

$1550 for a Satin cue with one shaft. I think Shane can do a lot better than that. Plus, Dick Abbot can be a real jerk-ass sometimes when it comes to doing business.

Andy, no disrespect to you, but Shane could do a heck of a lot worse than to deal with Dick Abbott, one of the most well known and respected cue collectors/dealers around.

I honestly do not feel that Shane was looking for a SW cue, but rather only attempting to incite a little drama (something he probably regards as fun) into things by getting a flame war going. There are not very many people that I have conversed with on here who think of this forum as a place to attack cuemakers and other forum members (at least without any sort of provocation).

There are plenty of chat rooms on yahoo, etc for the conduct of conversation and "witticisms" such as Mr ShaneS used recently on this forum. It does not appear to have been very well received here.

I apologize to Dick Abbot.... Maybe I spoke a little too harshly. However I do not agree with his pricing or his work ethic and would rather not do business with him. I believe Shane is serious about purchasing a SW but he is waiting for the right one and the right price.

I like of the people on this forum and enjoy using it. What I like about this forum is the fact that people are entitled to there opinions and ideas as long as it is not vulgar. I might not agree with what someone has to say on this forum and everyone has the right to disagree with me. I do not agree with Shane on some of his posts but he can say what he wants. Who am I to stop him? I also believe a little controversy is good now and then.

I hope no one judges me to harshly and the forum members accept my apology if I offended anyone in any way.

One thing about the forum members here when you ask for help for something they will do all they can to help you..recently when a certain person asked for help in buying a cue some of the best people came out to help him and what did he do he degraded them posting some trash. it's one thing to joke around but don't ask for help and not be serious about it..why waste peoples time.

I agree with what you are saying. Almost everyone has been very helpful and given me advice on this forum at one time or another. I do not agree with what Shane said on this thread at all.

He has said some funny stuff on other threads though. I've known him for eight years so I can understand his humor and understand why some people can take it the wrong way. If people disagree with me for sticking up for him go ahead. I believe in defending my friend.

Andy, I, for one, don't disagree with you for taking up for your friend. It is commendable. You know him better and probably understand what he considers his sense of humor. Folks here gave him solid advice in methods to acquire a SW. He did not follow thru on any of them. He "attacked" the folks who gave him advice, "attacked" the reputation of a great cuemaker, Andy Gilbert, and also "attacked" SirBanksAlot for not trading his 8 point SW to him for his Szamboti, which I don't believe he has. Most of the folks here are serious about the business of pool and the game of pool, which are two different things. There is always room for levity, but there are limits. IMHO, he has gone beyond those limits.

He has crossed the line and understands that. He has asked for the moderators to remove his account (an action I am considering as well). As for the SirBanksAlot thing that is an entirely different story. He used to live in Utah and we are both friends of his especially me. Shane was just giving him a hard time. His joking might have crossed the line to a point that even SirBanksAlot didn't like it but the two can sort it out between themselves. ShaneS is a grown man who can solve his own problems.

I hope everyone has a nice day.:) -Andy

The guy has problems alright. He gives me a bad reputation entry because I took exception to his comments about Gilbert and Coker cues.

Quote by ShaneS:

"Gilberts aren't that good. I also don't for your ebay store, or the comments you made about Cokers."

Grown man did you say? I have my doubts about that.

As well

He gave me spiteful bad rep because I objected to his crazy comments in this very thread that insinuated that there was a conspiracy against him to deny him a SW cue. In that post he was rude and disrespectful because he was not getting his way/hearing what he wanted to hear. He even made some kind of comment about me being friends with someone who is dishonest (?!).

Southwest's Are Out There!

Everyone who posted about trying to help the "thread starter" in locating a Southwest did a good job and had good intentions. In fact - I was able to locate another SW based on the info in this thread. Furthermore - it does seem that if you just keep your eyes open and some $$$ in the wallet - they can be had.

How rare is a 23 oz SW break cue ??? I saw one and even used it to break. What a log!!!
