Just bought another cue on Friday and so my 3x7 Instroke is too small and I'd like to be able to carry 4 cues because it allows me to carry an extra cue I might want to sell.......like right now to help pay for the Ivory Jointed '95 Joss West I bought yesterday. Let me know what you might have and perhaps a deal can be struck

Thanks For The Offer Dave

Dave,

Thanks for the offer but this isn't the right case for me....no problem with your price.

Thanks,

Matt

Santa Didn't Show Up With My Case....Still Looking

Christmas Day Bump.....hoping that someone will rummage thru their inventory and conclude that maybe it's time to sell their 4x8 case......has to be leather.....if you're thinking about selling one, then please think of me.

Thanks for reaching me ghost121

I answered your PM and unfortunately, the specific brand case you have available is not one that doesn't have any interest for me.

Oops....double negative...kinda negates each other.

Sorry for the double negative...bad grammar....just not much of a fan of that brand case.

We have this one for sale now:

$625 shipped.

Otherwise most of the hard 4x8 cases we do are custom ordered.

I'll probably just hang onto my 3x7 cases....I have two Instrokes 3x7 but if I am successful in lgetting a 4x8 leather case, I'm prepared to sell one of the 3x7 Instroke cases. Presently, I own three Instroke hard leather cases: (1-2x4 leather case and 2-3x7 leather cases). I'll part with the 2x4 Instroke and one of the 3x7 cases if I score a 4x8 case.

A Fine Old Case

Jim,

I checked the case offered for sale by workingman. It's definitely a vintage cue case, albeit a wee bit long in the tooth for my taste as far as cue cases go.

JB Cases - 4x8 Cue Case

Thank you for showing me this JB dark brown leather 4x8 cue case and I've sent you a PM.

Well....What I said was.....

Basically what I said was thanks for reaching me and this case seems to be the best candidate so far. Some forum member suggested I also try Murnak, Barton & Swift Cue Case websites but I have to admit the leather and stitching on your case is indeed very fetching.

The only feature that I have to get adjusted to is the case lid's sideway snap which I've usually not fond of as a design style. Nonetheless, this quality and craftsmanship that went into making this case is apparent, at least to me.

i have bought nearly a dozen john barton cases
and i like them all
i have also enjoyed working with john

he has my recomendation

Thanks For The Feedback

Dean,

As you can tell, I wound up getting the Joss west cue last week which kinda interfered with also going after that great looking Runde Rosewood cue of yours. I don't know if that cue is still around but someone is going to be really happy if they get that cue.

It really does help to have your input about Barton cases because I'd otherwise have to entirely rely upon my impression of the caseson his website. That's not th best way to make a selection so having the opinion of someone you trust is a real big plus. I'll sure look at his cases a little more closely now.

Thanks,

Matt

p.s. I look forward to your future update about the Schon Balabushka cue you've arranged to be produced.......I'm really excited about this project.

dont know what the value of the 4 cues you plan on hauling might be, but I think that taking 3 cues anywhere is bordering risky in the event of the inevitable, (low life thief's)...Let alone 4 cues.
cant bring myself to bring 4 cues anywhere.

Good luck on your search, I went new on my last case as it seems harder to find a NICE used case than it is to find a nice used cue. I bought a 3X7...

Please keep me in mind for your 3X7 as I could use another for my Carmeli's I have coming :-)
