Im looking to try out a Mezz break cue. They're about the only break cue I haven't tried so thought maybe id give them a shot. Im not interested in a new one. Does anyone have a used one that they don't want an arm and a leg for? Id like to spend around $200 if possible. Pm me with offers. Thanks.

GL with your search

Good luck with your search, because they not cheap and threre`s not many for sale. If you fine one, you`ll get great craftmanship and a great breaking cue.

200 probably not for anything with a deep impact 2 or power break pro shaft. 250-260 is already a good deal for anything with those two shafts. good luck!

stick with a bk2...same break other than a very slight edge in cue ball control with the mezz powerbreak....not worth the dough IMO

Not to sidetrack the WTB thread but there is a huge difference. But if price is a factor then you will have to see if it outweighs the difference.

OP, good luck with your search for your Mezz Break cue, will be hard to get one anywhere in that price range. Impossible for the Power break Pro models for sure.

Here is one thread with some reviews regarding one of the Mezz break cues.

Mezz PB1

Hi David,

Im getting ready to list a Mezz PB1. Power Break shaft. Black. Mint. I had a black/white real ringtail lizard wrap installed. ( which is awesome looking/feeling, cost me 250. ). Samsara leather j/b tip.

I have about 700. in it. I'll take 400.

P.S.- You are a big guy, (no offense), the PB2 would never work for you. IMO. I have owned all the Mezz breaks, PB2, Power Break Pro, and I like the feedback of the PB1 best.

I can meet you at Shooters/ Sharks or Clarette if you'd like to see it....

I broke the bank and went with the PowerBreak Pro with an H shaft (the heavier one you see in those pictures.) It really is amazing. It's very effortless, easy to control, and you get an incredible spread. I tried the BK3 first and bought the Mezz sight unseen.

I let Busty try it out and he loved it. I can give it to APA 2's and as long as they hit the rack square, you can definitely tell the difference between that and most of everything else.

The great thing about Mezz's is that they hold their value. If you don't like it there's always someone who will be willing to buy it. I never tried the PB2 (Shorty) because I wasn't sure if I would like the change. And I don't know how it stacks up against their other break cues either, but in my experience it's worth it to spend a little extra money for the return.

the mezz PB2, the short one, is hands down the best production break cue on the market
