Lost my Dad

Just posting as a memorial to my father who passed away the other night. He was my pool mentor and taught me how to bank, draw a cue ball and just generally got me interested in the game at a young age. Even when his health was declining he would always try to show up to watch me take down a tournament. I can't think of one enemy he had in life. He will be missed.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad, and best friend 9 years ago. I still miss him every day. The memories you have will live for ever I can promise you that.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Remember him not with sorrow, but with joy for the time you were permitted on Earth together, and for a life that was well-lived.

Peace

Sorry for your loss. You were lucky to have your father as a mentor. He will always be with you and a part of you. I can only imagine how hard these next days will be. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Condolences for your loss. It sounds like you've got some great memories and inspiration. I'm glad you have those to remember.

Its hard - I am sorry for your loss. After awhile the hurt isn't quite as sharp and painful, then your memories become happy memories --- I know, lost both my parents and after the years still miss them. Take care.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. I am sure your father was a gentleman in every sense of the word.

That's cool you guys were close. To honor this memorial would you like to share a story or two about your father? Like when was the first time you beat him at pool? Did he ever let you win? Was he ever a road player? Favorite joke...etc..

If I'm overstepping my bounds, I apologize, no disrespect intended. I never had a relationship with my father and I find the dynamic between a father and son very interesting. I'm a father now (have a daughter) and I can't imagine ever leaving her side. Plus, sometimes talking about the "good stuff" helps us deal with the "bad stuff".

Peace,
Mike

Sorry

My condolences for your loss. Prayers and well wishes will be with you. Take care

You have my condolences. My fathers passed away 10 years ago this April (God, that's hard to believe). Some of my fondest childhood memories are of playing pool with him.

The father/son relationship is pretty incredible. It's a shame you never got to have that in your life growing up. It's nice that you're getting the opportunity to have that child/parent bond now with you daughter.

I share your loss. Your dad sounds like the kind of man I would have liked. My sympathy to you and your family.
