Any Louisville folks posting on here...yall know I just moved up here and I was wondering if I have any az neighbors?

Welcome to "the Ville",
I lived here my whole life, great town, great people and great pool. Not only are we home to the Derby City Classic, we're lucky to have many different pool halls and bars loaded with Diamond Tables, (9 footers and 7 footers). Check out Diamonds Pub in St. Matthews, The Bank Shot on Market Street and The Billiard Club in Fern Creek.

For night-life, take your fiance to 4th Street Live located downtown. It's a lot of restaurants and bars. There's one called "Felt" which is a pool bar/restaurant. Check out the Muhammad Ali Museum and the Fall meet starts soon at Churchill Downs. Next spring is Thunder Over Louisville and The Derby, (this town goes absolutely NUTS).

Unfortunately, Louisville is only sponsored by the APA. It's better than nothing. I wish we had more options in that department. Anywho, enough ramblin'. Shoot me a PM and we can shoot some. Congrats on getting engaged.

It is quiet, friendly, well maintained, & has many skilled "regulars" generous with their knowledge. Nice quiet Blues music- no rock or rap & now no smoke. Off street parking too. Never a wait for a table.

Good action ,right on black balled. Unfortunately louisville is now non smoking. Damn politics! If you're interested in knocking them around pm me I tend to wander around and play a little.

I agree with all of these places. The billiard club is great.

There is also felt in 4th street liev, which is not the greatest tables (9' gold crows with slower cloth), but it has a nice atmosphere.

Personally I find the bank shot to be boring as hell and there is nothign ever going on in there. The equipment is well maintained, but the atmosphere is dead. This is a real shame because I live in downtown close to the bankshot.
