I just posted a link in NPR to the Sounds of the Day thread and discovered this little pool nugget.

It is amazing how the words to that song can apply to pool. Well done!

How I came upon this video is upon learing the lead singer of The Spinners, Bobby Smith, passed away. A statement released Monday by the manager of the rhythm and blues group said Bobbie Smith passed away Saturday morning due to complications from pneumonia and influenza. He was 76.

Hopefully it will always be there whenever we need it.

Its a mix bag. But yeah, the love factor is there. Lovely video, exceptional music and superb beats.

But for me it is more a Love Letter to Us from Pool. :grin-square:
 
Our Ways

Pool and religion are identical. Where else can you impose your thoughts on another with such finely tuned words, and they listen but don't hear or vice versa. I'm not being synical, it's the dam truth.
 
It reminds me of my third wife. Oh, Miss Jam, the times she and I used to have.
Waking up in the back seat of a strange car in the pool hall parking lot.
Feeding uncooked rice to the pigeons in the park and watching them swell up and make crash landings.
And walking backwards into a movie theater so that the girl in the ticket booth would think we were coming out.
Those were the days, I can tell you. :)

Pool and religion are identical. You can talk to the table and there's nobody listening or talking back. You can talk to "God," but there is nobody listening or talking back.
 
We can say that Pool and Religion are almost identical. You need to keep going with all your heart to make your wish come true. Its about concentrating and discipline.
