Here are a few progression photos of a Purple Heart Titlist Conversion I am building for mdavis228.

All white is Ivory.

There are stacked veneers and a silver ring above and below the Ivory ring.

One more taper pass and it will be ready for some clear.

Here are the pics.

Looking great, Lee!

It really doesn't get any better than working with Lee. He's doing super work, knows how to make a cue play well for you, and his communication along the way is 2nd to none.

It will get a linen wrap. I've just never been comfortable playing with a wrapless cue. Some will disagree, but that's me.

That pic was the inspiration, Dave! We added the silver rings next to the ivory because I like the look & to give it something different.

Purple Heart Titlist Conversion

Amazing looking Titlist Conversion-nice work
It couldn't happen to a better person than Chris from what I've seen on this forum.

I'm always interested in Titlist conversion cues and this is one of the nicer conversions I've seen.
I really like the veneers above the butt cap as well as the ivory joint, and to me the cue looks just outstanding overall.

Yes I could tell the rings were very close if not the same thickness.
I didnt want to make a carbon copy, so I went with a .260 Ivory ring and a .625 Purple Heart ring.

Eh... I think it would make gus happy. Some say copy. I say paying tribute. I know it makes barry happy... this is literally the firsy 4 pointer i ever made.

Chris is going to be the lucky owner of two of the best Titlist conversions around. Very nice work Lee.

Lee has done another jam up job for me. He had this under UV for quite a while to bring the color out of the purple heart, and it really is brilliant. He's really great to work with. Looking forward to getting it in hand & trying out the solid ivory piloted joint. Never had one before. btw - the Hoppe ring & the butt cap are both ivory as well. The ferrule on the shaft is micarta, and the linen is beige w/ blue speck.
Great job, Lee!
