What's your feedback on this break cue ?

Compared to let's say BK2, Poison or any other break cue you might use

Thanks

i've used one, but with a different shaft then the lucasi hybrid shaft. It was a great breaker, the grip was like a golf club and very easy to hold and control. It also seemed to have a nice balance to it that make nice hard breaks a snap.

I may be in the minority, but the textured grip intrigues me. Sure I like the look of a classic cue, but the traditional linen wrap is not to my liking. They get dirty & slippery. I like wrapless for this reason. A "golf" type grip is in our future IMO. Same for the futuristic aesthetics of the Lucasi Hybrid cues.

There decent. I have used all three break cues you mentioned (demo'd, each for a week) and personally I like the Lucasi the least of them. The grip was different at first but after a few racks it grew on me a bit. I still stick to a BK wrapless though.

ive never used one but...

my favorite break cue is a good solid fullsplice onepiece maple/good hardwood barstick i prefer 18oz with a good ferrule and hard tip. if im at a bar with some good bar cues i dont even get my break stick out...barcues gives best break by far if a its good one. slick the shaft up with some scotchbrite and drop the hammer

my break cue wich used to be my playing cue is a sawed in half bar cue with a 3/8 #10 thread pin and the weight screw taken out of the back so it weighs about 17 oz

my playing cue is a Schon STL5 wich actually breaks the balls really good....but i dont abuse it...i have used it for soft breaks (sometimes when im having a hard time with scratching and killing the cueball with hard breaks.) spreads the balls really nice when hit about 60 percent.

another cue thats good for breaking is Joss(also they are a good playing cue for the Money. might be the best value out there...nice consistancy between cues and they hit good)....

get the $200 playing model and put a phenolic tip/ferrule on her(if you like that sort of hit) me i dont prefer it i like a hard leather tip and regular ferrule....that way my break cue can double as a backup playing cue.

a good break is in your technique not your cue.
