Lucasi owners' pin preference

I seldom see Lucasi cues with anything other than quick release. Is the radial seldom seen because it is not as good playing?

I don't recall seeing a radial but I do see an occasional 3/8-10.

I don't like the quick release personally but I bet it is popular.

pin has no influence on how a cue plays.

Right, it only influences which shafts can screw on.

My 15 year old Lucasi with the uni loc pin has been trouble free,I clean the pin and insert once in awhile as this keeps it from locking up.

My wife and I both used a Lucasi cue for a while. Her pin finally stripped out in the butt and I had the joint changed out to a radial.

Couldn't tell that the cue played any different, but she/I never worried about the shaft loosening up during play.

Mine still has the Uniloc and it's still going strong. Although nowadays it's sporting a Rhino shaft.

You are over thinking it, IMO. Tons of money won with cues with quick release Predator/Lucasi pin.
